Transom’s Heat Pumps
Decarbonization and Electrification currently a major key focus for the HVAC industry. Transom’s Hatch commercial and Industrial heat pumps are specifically designed and built for these applications. By harvesting the low quality heat from the air and converting it into high temperature usable high temperature heat.
Because the Hatch heat pumps are designed for low ambient operation it will provide large amount of heat for the full range of ambient temperature not only for mid and high ambient temperatures.
They will provide full high temperature discharge (140 and 180F) supply water over the full range of ambient temperatures -20F to 120F. The units are designed with low ambient operating circuit to give additional capacity and higher COP at low ambient conditions
Transom has a variety of heat pumps to allow a better match to the required operating application. These also include both air source and water source type heat pumps.
Low ambient air source heat pump producing up to 140F LWT. Available for both potable and building heating. Sizes vary from 10 to 40 tons variable capacity. Modular up to 12 modules.
CO2 Low ambient air source heat pump producing up to 190F LWT, has a GWP of 1. Transcritical unit is ideal for potable domestic hot water heating. Sizes vary from 20 to 40 tons variable capacity. Modular up to 12 modules.
Low ambient air source heat pump producing up to 180F LWT. Available for both potable and building heating. 50 tons variable capacity. Modular up to 12 modules
